This is a ministry of out-reach that goes into the community that provides free transportation to and from church every Sunday. Through this ministry we are trying to reach children, teenagers, adults and whole families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The hope and future of this world lies in the lives of teenagers. Through this ministry, we are trying to teach the youth of our community to be Christian examples to others. We are working to help these teenagers take a stand against sin and stand for right.

"Our Missions Vision"

Our Missions Vision is firmly rooted in Holy Scripture. Consider these verses from the Bible:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth. Acts 1:8

It is perfectly clear that all Christians are to have a part in witnessing and spreading the Gospel throughout the entire world. We have our “Jerusalem”, it is Mechanicsville. And we have our “Samaria”, it is Southern Maryland. And we certainly have “the uttermost part of
the earth”.

In fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission,Our Mission Vision is to support and send witnesses of the Gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world. We follow the Biblical examples of missionaries being sent by the Holy Spirit and the Local, Independent, New Testament Church. - Acts 13:1-5 And all of our supported missionaries are in harmony and agreement with our doctrinal statement, and adhere to our Mission purposes.

"What Can You Do?"

Pray for our missionaries and their families. Pray that God will use them to lead the lost to Christ. Pray for Christians and lost souls in foreign lands. Pray that churches will be planted and prosper. Pray for our
missionaries’ spiritual and physical needs.
Pray for the power of the Holy Ghost upon their ministries. Pray that host countries remain open to the Gospel.

Give to Missions. Ask God what He would have you do to support Missions. Consider making a special offering to
Missions. Consider becoming a regular financial contributor to Missions. You may give by marking the Missions area of your Tithes and Offering envelope, or marking your check with your offering to Missions.
Remember, missions giving is in addition to, and not in place of your Tithe.

"Ladies' Fellowship"

The Ladies's Fellowship will start in September with our ladies attending the "East Coast Ladies' Conference" hosted by Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV. Then they will be meeting at Gospel Light the first Tuesday of every month, beginning on October 7th @ 7:00pm. We hope all our ladies will attend.

"Our Nursery Ministry"

Our ladies at Gospel Light provide a clean, well-kept and well-staffed nursery for crib babies to toddlers (two year-olds). The nursery is available for every service, to provide the parents an opportunity to relax and enjoy the service. This can set the parent's mind at ease that their child is in the best of hands and under good care.
